Moon Buggy Ho!

What'd you call me?

Anyways. I spent a bit of time last night working on an entry for the Classic-Space Moon Rover Contest over at Classic-Space. One of the main goals of the contest was to invent some custom built brick wheels rather than using the stock hubs and tires that come with lego sets. Most of my effort was spent trying to come up with something that hadn't been done before and was at least somewhat round and cool looking. After a couple of hours of banging my head on the wall I started digging through my castle lego and stumbled into a technique that uses a whole lot of little clips and the dark gray carriage wheels! While I'm pretty sure the other builders have me completely beaten it was fun to build something small and spacey. If you want to see more head over to my Space-Mocs and check it out.

Game Geek Not Actually Dead!

It's true. I have been in the game development "cave of doom" for the past many months (is it bad that I can't remember how long I've been gone?) and I've got the pixel shaped scarification to prove it.

After many long months of effort we shipped out our Ubi-Days Demo and it looks like people are really excited to see what we have been up to. Click Here to check out the teaser trailer. I don't think the footage of the demo itself has hit the streets yet but I'm sure it will be soon. You'll just have to fire up your Google fingers to see that.

It's been great to have a few days of rest and get back to my blog, photos and recently LEGOs! I built my first MOC (My own creation) and it was an absolute blast. Click here to check it out. You can also go to my Brickshelf account to see whatever else LEGOy that I might be up to. Can't wait to get started on something new.
