After many Saturns of inactivity my photo blog has been reborn.

Sharks + Princesses + Vision for the Blind = Weekend!

I must have time on my hands because I'm back to updating my blog again!

Maya and her friend are bouncing around the house as only "Twin Princess Sisters" can and I'm reading a fantastic book called "Charging Through" about a man who has been blind his whole life and at the age of 30 gets a chance to restore his vision. Truly inspiring. It's/Hes the kind of read (and kind of man) that makes you want to join the Peace Corps and go make something of yourself.

Speaking of sitting on the couch vegetating... I'll also suggest you set your DVRs on stun and watch a Discovery channel show called "Sharkman". It's a far cry from the jaw snapping fear mongering crud about sharks that FOX would peddle in a heartbeat. Instead it shows a brave soul who free-dives with the worlds most feared sharks. Tiger, Gray, and Great White. Not only that he is actually able to communicate with them and in a strange way renders them completely submissive and calm to his touch. Until you've seen a 12 foot tiger shark limply nuzzling the chest of a diver I don't think you've seen it all. I won't spoil what happens with the Great White...
